This is the last week for Dreamweaver Introduction at LVS. I have learned so much, but also realize that there is much more I need to know! This week the lesson includes:
I will be using work I have done with Corel Painter as the images to be linked to an image map I created in Photoshop. I see many possible uses for image maps in the kind of work I try to display on web sites for which I am responsible. There should be three links in the image map below and I am wondering just how much one needs to explain about the image map. I have completed the Image Map and see that the ALT tags really are quite useful to non-handicapped people as well as those with accessibility issues. They explain very well what the image is about. I might also mention that I have been able to set up the FTP in the Dreamweaver site window and love the way it works! You may continue on to Lesson 6 B where we will see something about Simple Tables! |
