I was so amazed at the differences I found by using Spot Metering. The Olympus C5050Z does have 3 choices for metering. The Default, a Multipoint (where you can focus on 8 different points in a photo!) and Spot. Because we were using backlighted subjects, I used the Spot Metering. I did only a small amount of trying Exposure Compensation and was again amazed with the control I could take over the light in my pictures! I can think of at least a million times in the past when I needed this knowledge.

I had some difficulty getting subjects this time...now I see that I am not the only one to use an inanimate object or two. I did also catch my granddaughter, Lauren (animate, of course). The star of the 'show' is the doll I made several years ago! The backs of her legs still need to be stitched up...
