I am using a dual screen display for working with the courses that I am taking at LVS. It seems the ideal way to do this sort of lesson. On one monitor, I have Dreamweaver open while on the other, I have the .pdf file open. This makes it so much easier! No more popping the lesson up and then down only to find that I forgot what I had read to do and then had to repeat the steps. Working from the printed lesson was even more inconvenient because I am using computer glasses and reading glasses...that means that I would be constantly changing my glasses!
Last session at LVS, I took 2 courses and I am doing the same thing this session. Here is a list of classes for both last and current sessions.
I really like having this kind of work and learning going on and find 2 courses seem to keep me busy enough...that was until last session, when I entered the Introduction to PHP! It was in the first week that I had taken on almost more than I could handle. I loved all the possibilites for creating such dynamic web pages but I have yet to recover from the giant sized headache from writing such intricate and sensitive code! And, the Flash lesson last session had 90+ pages in the first week! Well, after all is said and done, I got through, except for lesson 6 in each class. At Lesson 6, I had my shoulder surgery. Good excuse!
