Embroidery Sewing Machines

Embroidery sewing machines are a very exciting tool and a most wonderful way to embellish clothing and linens. Creating home decor, utility items, laces, ornaments...the list is endless! Choosing the right machine for what you want to do is a very difficult choice and the buyer is presented with many questions.
Here are some considerations:
- How much do I want to spend?
- Do I want/need other capabilities beside embroidery?
- Will I buy from a dealer or online where pricing is better?
- Do I want to be able to send designs from my computer to the machine?
- Is there software to go with the machine?
- Are there online help and project ideas for the machine?
- What file format does the machine use?
The table will try to answer some of these questions by considering the Janome Memory Craft 11000, the Husqvarna/Viking and the Pfaff.

In doing the little bit of research for this table, I found that Pfaff and Husqvarna/Viking are related. The 4D and Creative 4D software seem to be the same product in different packaging.
My home set up is the Memory Craft 10000 and Husqvarna/Viking software. It is all incredible and a dream to use!
