Color Wheel

May 15, 2004

Color Wheel showing Starated view and Color-proofed view in Photoshop.
Original, RGB Soft Proofed View
It didn't show so much the difference here as it did in Photoshop, probabky because it is just that, a proofing tool. So, a screencapture of the contrast was done.

A. 1d Extra Credit The color-proofed view of my colorwheel does not have the vibrance and high contrast to the background that the original view does.

A. 2d I switched back and forth many times beween the original and the color-proofed version. Each time I left the original version, it was as if the 'light' was removed. The sharpness of the color was replaced by a less vibrant, softer (meaning less contrast with my white background) version in the color-proofed image. I would say that this means that the color-proofed wheel is less saturated.
