MyJanee.com is a site filled with tutorials for Photoshop, community where people can discuss all sorts of things concerning art, photos, software, hardware and more! As if that were not enough to enrich and fulfill your need for information or communication with others with similar interests, there is an almost monthly Art Challenge. I joined the community in December of 2002 and my first challenge was in February, 2003. Entrants submit their images anonymously. The work then becomes available for viewing on the site and, after several weeks, members vote on what they feel are their favorites. There is a lot of high quality art and photo work which makes it difficult to choose and , as an entrant, can be quite intimidating! But, it is most of all a motivating experience filled with learning, either on your own in creating the art, or from others by what they present. As the voting time approaches, it can become very tense! As much as I have aleady learned about the various applications I own, or about presenting 'art', I learn new things each challenge.

After a couple of years of not keeping this updated, I find the only way that I can do it is to do simp[le slide shows of the images and all that goes with them. I regret not being able to add the details of creating each, and will have to let each image speak for itself. Also, each Challenge, beginning with October, 2004, will now open in a window of its own which will need to be closed after viewing.
