Techno Abstracts

Creating anything Techno Abstract was something I had never tried nor even considered before. It wasn't easy, but in doing this Challenge I reached beyond my usual flowery, soft type of image construction. Photoshop, Bryce, Illustrator, trueSpace 5 were considerations and after floundering for a while, used all! I was fortunate enough to win with two of my entries. One was done in Bryce and the other in Photoshop. The button and wire at the left are 2 of the parts used to create the very technical winning entry! Click on the thumbnails to view a larger image. Click on the first trophy to see how it REALLY looks! |

Creating the wire mesh hand was a problem I solved by posing the hands in Poser 4, rendering them in Wire Mesh mode and then removing the background in Photoshop so that I was left with just the transparent mesh. The wire, butttons and inter face created from tutorials by Scott Kelby in his Photoshop7 Down & Dirty Tricks book.
The interface was really exciting to make!
