Photograph of a map of Matha's Vineyard, found in Tisbury
On Wednesday, September 25, 2003, some friends and I took the Fast Ferry from Quonset Point, Rhode Island to Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. The weather was blue skies, sun, warm...a perfect day for what we were going to do!

Below are photos of the trip, the Vineyard and return. We had a full day, with lunch and then ice Cream at Mad Martha's. We did actually have Sinfully Chocolate frozen yogurt with chunks of Heath Bar in it! We did some shopping around where one friend enjoyed shopping in The Black Dog. When we returned to Rhode Island, about 7:30 PM (the trip was extended a bit by seaweed needing to be cleaned from the propellers, or motors of the boat) we headed for the Coast Guard House in Narragansett for a wonderful dinner..

Below are thumbnail images which, when clicked , will open a new window with a larger view of the photo. Close each window as you finish viewing the photo.

Two days later, we visited Galilee and Point Judith , Rhode Island. You can see those photos here.
