Week 2

I really had some fun with Week 2, doing some things with Photoshop to the rendered images which include some cropping and painting. I did use a photo I had taken during a recent visit to New York City with my family as the background. I also did a sketch render to use in Layer Blending in Photoshop. Once I got going with the render in Photoshop, I didn't want to stop experimenting! Here are the results. Using the conforming clothes did not seem to cause a problem.

Poser model with closeup of face after painting in Photoshop with the Smudge brush and other brushes. The model is Poser 6 Jessi, with whom I used the Props of sunglasses, wrist watch and pocket book. I used the walking pose and raised her arm so that she would appear to be looking at her wrist watch.

While editing the materials, I seem to have lost the shadows which would add more interest to her clothes. But, I am not totally unhappy with the poster like effect of them as they are here.

The orignal render, as it was from Poser.

The model, with painted clothing done in Photoshop.

This rollover image shows the original sketch render used with the color layer and blending modes.

The image above is a rollover with the sketch render as the hidden layer. The color image and the sketch image were placed as layers in the Photoshop Layers Palette, then some experimenting with duplicating layers and trying various blending modes gave this result.

A filtrd layer, combined in blending modes with a kaleidoscope made with the original.
