This photos of Kelly was taken at her 10th birthday party in July of 2001. I used my then new Olympus C3040Z
Kelly was busy opening her gifts and I was eager to get a photo of her in that process. I asked her to look up at me, which she did with an expression of "Why are you bothering me right now?" I shot the picture and didn't realize until I got home just how great the color and details were. I have been trying ever since to get a photo as true in color! I didn't really need to do any correcting with Photoshop. However, I did remove a small crumb of birthday cake from her face using the Clone tool.
